About Us
Sedgley & Gornal United FC. is a proud, community-focused football club built on strong values, local commitment and a real passion for the game. Our location allows us to provide football for players of all ages and abilities across the Coseley, Sedgley, Gornal, Dudley and Wolverhampton areas, giving everyone the chance to learn, develop and enjoy the game in a safe and supportive environment.
High Standards & Development
Our teams have consistently competed in the Stourbridge & District Youth Football League, expanding into the Walsall Junior Youth Football League and Midlands Junior Premier League, as well as other regional competitions. This experience allows us to provide the right level of challenge and development for players at every stage.
Coaching & Player Welfare
All of our coaches hold FA qualifications, from Introduction to Coaching Football through to UEFA B level. They are trained in First Aid and Safeguarding for children and adults, with up to date DBS checks in place, ensuring every player receives the highest level of care, support and guidance.
Pathways & Opportunities
We provide football for boys, girls and mixed teams, starting their football journey’s initially from U7’s through to U17’s, with progression into open age football for both men and women. Working closely with local schools, we also introduce Reception and Year 1 children to the game in a fun, safe and encouraging environment.
