Sedgley and Gornal United FC is an FA 2 Star Accredited Club providing fun, safe and enjoyable football for children and adults of all abilities. Our FA and UEFA qualified coaches are First Aid and Safeguarding trained with up to date DBS checks. We aim to be the club of choice across the Coseley, Sedgley, Gornal, Dudley and Wolverhampton areas, building opportunities for everyone.
U7’s Scorpions
Our U7’s Scopions team introduces young players to football through structured, enjoyable sessions designed to build confidence and enthusiasm. Players develop coordination, dribbling, passing and teamwork skills in a supportive environment. The focus is on fun, learning the basics properly, and creating a strong foundation for future progression within the club.
U8’s North & South
Our U8's North & South teams focus on developing technical ability while introducing greater understanding of the game. Players work on passing, control, decision making and spatial awareness through small-sided matches and structured sessions. Emphasis remains on enjoyment, teamwork and communication, helping children build confidence and strengthen their skills in a positive environment.
U9’s West
Our U9’s West teams focus on developing technical ability while introducing greater understanding of the game. Players work on passing, control, decision making and spatial awareness through small-sided matches and structured sessions. Emphasis remains on enjoyment, teamwork and communication, helping children build confidence and strengthen their skills in a positive environment.
U11's North & South
Our U11's North & South teams focus on developing technical ability while introducing greater understanding of the game. Players work on passing, control, decision making and spatial awareness through small-sided matches and structured sessions. Emphasis remains on enjoyment, teamwork and communication, helping children build confidence and strengthen their skills in a positive environment.
U12’s North
Our U12’s North teams focus on refining technical skills while building teamwork, confidence and match awareness. Structured training sessions and small-sided games develop passing, control and decision making in realistic scenarios. Players are encouraged to show resilience, enjoy competitive matches and continue progressing in a positive, supportive environment.
U14’s East, South, West & MJPL
Our U14’s teams across East, South, West and MJPL focus on refining technical ability and tactical understanding in competitive environments. Players develop decision making, positioning and communication through structured sessions and match preparation. Training combines challenge and enjoyment, building confidence, resilience and teamwork while preparing players for higher levels and continued progression within the club.
U15’s North
U15’s North develops advanced technical, tactical, and physical skills for competitive football. Sessions focus on positioning, decision-making, and teamwork in realistic match scenarios. Players continue building confidence, resilience, and enjoyment of the game, preparing them for higher-level competitions while maintaining a positive, supportive club environment.
U18’s North
U18's North combines high-level technical and tactical training with match preparation and leadership development. Players refine skills, understand advanced tactics, and contribute to team strategy. Sessions emphasise enjoyment, confidence, and commitment, helping young athletes progress towards senior football while embodying the values and spirit of Sedgley & Gornal United FC.
