Sedgley and Gornal United FC is an FA 2 Star Accredited Club providing safe, enjoyable football for children and adults of all abilities. Our FA and UEFA qualified coaches are First Aid and Safeguarding trained with up to date DBS checks. We aim to be the club of choice across North Dudley Borough and South East Wolverhampton, building opportunities for everyone.

U7’s North & South
Our U7’s East and South teams introduce young players to football through structured, enjoyable sessions designed to build confidence and enthusiasm. Players develop coordination, dribbling, passing and teamwork skills in a supportive environment. The focus is on fun, learning the basics properly, and creating a strong foundation for future progression within the club.
U8’s East & West
Our U8’s East and West teams focus on developing technical ability while introducing greater understanding of the game. Players work on passing, control, decision making and spatial awareness through small-sided matches and structured sessions. Emphasis remains on enjoyment, teamwork and communication, helping children build confidence and strengthen their skills in a positive environment.
U10’s Girls, North & South
Our U10’s Girls, North and South teams focus on refining technical skills while building teamwork, confidence and match awareness. Structured training sessions and small-sided games develop passing, control and decision making in realistic scenarios. Players are encouraged to show resilience, enjoy competitive matches and continue progressing in a positive, supportive environment.
U11’s North
U11’s North develops players’ technical and tactical abilities while promoting teamwork, communication, and match awareness. Sessions include structured drills and competitive games, allowing children to practice skills under realistic conditions. The focus remains on enjoyment, confidence, and continued football development in a safe and supportive environment.
U13’s East, South, West & MJPL
Our U13’s teams across East, South, West and MJPL focus on refining technical ability and tactical understanding in competitive environments. Players develop decision making, positioning and communication through structured sessions and match preparation. Training combines challenge and enjoyment, building confidence, resilience and teamwork while preparing players for higher levels and continued progression within the club.
U14’s North
U14’s North develops advanced technical, tactical, and physical skills for competitive football. Sessions focus on positioning, decision-making, and teamwork in realistic match scenarios. Players continue building confidence, resilience, and enjoyment of the game, preparing them for higher-level competitions while maintaining a positive, supportive club environment.
U17’s North
U17’s North combines high-level technical and tactical training with match preparation and leadership development. Players refine skills, understand advanced tactics, and contribute to team strategy. Sessions emphasise enjoyment, confidence, and commitment, helping young athletes progress towards senior football while embodying the values and spirit of Sedgley & Gornal United FC.
